In 2015, I had the opportunity to pitch on stage at La French Touch Conference. It gave me a lot of visibility - especially through the contest session - and helped me meet potential US partners.

Each year, we select start-ups who wish to expand internationally. We give them the opportunity to pitch on stage in front of an international business audience and connect with major actors of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Our ambition is to identify, select and assist startups with a strong growth potential and showcase their value in front of investors during start-up contests on stage...or in the sky.

Participating and winning the first edition of Pitch in the Plane was a fantastic experience: novel, exciting, and forcing us to boil down our company to a bite-size format. Altogether, this experience gave me the confidence to enter the US market and establish SkyLights as a French and American company. Since then, we joined Y Combinator, completed our seed round, and are now growing with our first airlines proposing our cinematic VR inflight entertainment to their long-haul passengers

Pitch in the Plane was from far the most amazing opportunity for me to pitch in front of investors. The event was a great booster for our fundraising campaign and enabled us to considerably enhance our visibility on the US market. We actually signed a second deal in the US a couple of weeks after the event.

Pitch in the Plane was a unique experience for us at Adok and being "stuck" in a plane with the right people really helps making the connection. At the French Touch Conference in New-York, I had the opportunity to meet with potential business partners in the US, French Investors, and found clients. Everybody comes at the event with the will to connect with you and is very open-minded. Super cool!

Paul Péretié – AdokParticipated in the 1st edition of Pitch in the Plane 2016

Pitch the Plane was a fantastic experience. As a jury member, I was impressed by the quality of the startups selected to pitch. I also really appreciated the opportunity to network aboard the plane. It was a great idea to turn the flight into a networking session!
