US Correspondent - La Figaro
Sixtine Leon-Dufour is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience. As a leading journalist, she reported breaking and feature news stories from across the world and in particular Africa and developing countries.
Mrs Leon-Dufour spent 16 years at le Figaro, the first French daily newspaper, in Paris before moving to New York City in 2008. While traveling to more than 60 countries, she also reported from the world’s major summits including G8, IMF and World Bank assemblies, WTO, UN. She became one of the French specialists of developing economies both from the local and political stories.
She particularly focused on topics such as OMD, development aid and economic growth, fight against poverty, microfinance, innovative financing.
As an accredited journalist with Le Palais de L’Elysée (French presidency) she covered bilateral relationships between France and other countries on these subjects.
Since she moved to NYC, she started as a US correspondent for several major French publications (le Point, La Tribune, L’Expansion and le Figaro Madame). She now reports on US economy and political life. As well as American society stories and cultural scene.
